My fashion practice has always been aligned with the weather and the day of the week. If it’s a Monday, I am always dressing functional, but i will be dressed much more ‘business’ on Monday than on Friday.
My children seem to have taken the same approach.
Case in point, they too dress casual on Fridays. When they chose their outfits for the week, I smiled as a nod to knowing, they may not tell me, but they take great notes…
