Homemade sauces , warm bread, herbed butter from scratch..all components to a crowd favorite in my house.
Since I was young I adored Jamie Oliver. He was one of the first televised chefs I watched growing up. I was mesmerized by his in-house garden, where he’d pluck basil and rosemary and the sound of him clipping mile long sprigs of dill was heaven to me.
This recipe is from his channel, foodtube.
Catch the step-by-step below:
Throw 8 tablespoons of olive oil, fresh bail, salt and pepper (to taste) the zest of one lemon and the juice from 1 1/2 lemons in to a bowl.
Whisk it..whisk it good! It should look like this
Once your fettucini (16 oz.) has come to boil, add fresh grated Parmesan to the bowl (about a handful)
Throw all of your hot fettucini into the same bowl ( add 3 tablespoons of pasta water to thicken the sauce)
Toss until all of the ferttuccini is coated in the sauce.
While this has been cooking I made a simple herbed butter with fresh basil, 2 cloves of crushed garlic and toss it onto warm bread
Your dinner should look like this
